Vintage Binolux 12x50 binoculars, cleaned and enhanced for optimal viewing. Recently underwent internal cleaning to remove haze from the BK-7 prisms. Inner facing sides of all four prisms were blackened to reduce light scatter. Eye Pieces (EPs) disassembled, revealing a five-element lens setup. Edges of doublets and lenses closest to the eyes blackened for enhanced brightness. From the 1950s and now in better-than-new condition! Sharp and bright views. Case top glued and includes a working compass. Designed for handheld use. Individual Focus (IF) EPs cleaned and lubricated for smoother operation. Great for astronomy, flora, and fauna observation.
