This Instamatic 500 was the Cadillac of the 126 camera genre. It features manual controls, a hot shoe, a PC sync and a threaded cable release.<br>The body is heavy metal with plastic insets and really nicely textured leatherette that is good shape.<br>The Gossen light meter in this camera is still responsive.<br>These cameras were very popular in the 1960's as one of the most high end 126 cameras you could get. There's a lot of nostalgia with these little cameras and they fit so nicely on a shelf or display.<br>These cameras take 126 cartridge film which can still be procured online or you can buy the empty cartridges and spool them with whatever you would like.<br>Internal parts, shutter button and winding knob all move freely.<br>Camera shows very little wear with a couple little scratches that do not impede the functionality.
